Opening Coordinators Checklist (Study this) 

(A great way to stay productive during downtime)

  • Count Drawer: Should be approximately $150.
    Every Monday, match the previous week’s total with the Payment Summary report from MangoMint.

  • Lighting & Music:

    • Turn on all salon lights.

    • Play music via the Sonos app on the computer to the left.

  • Messages & Communications:

    • Check and respond to messages.

  • Beverage & Refreshments:

    • Prepare beverage station (water in Keurig, stock coffee bar if needed).

  • Clean & Restock:

    • Wash any leftover cups in the sink.

    • Start towels and capes in the laundry for the day; check spa laundry near the tanning room.

    • Keep cups available by the water machine.

    • Start ice and check the upstairs coffee station.

    • Fold towels, capes, and spa laundry.

  • Clean & Dust:

    • Dust all retail shelves, cabinets, counters, and boutique area tables.

  • Makeup & Product Areas:

    • Ensure the makeup bar is stocked and surfaces are clean.

    • When new products arrive, put everything in its proper place.

    • Keep all business cards stocked and arranged for stylists and service providers.

  • Clean Floors & Entry:

    • Check the floors and entry rug. Vacuum if needed.

    • Ensure hallways and main areas are clean and free of debris.

  • Bathroom Checks:

    • Restock toilet paper, seat covers, soap, and paper towels to keep bathrooms guest-ready.

  • Boutique Area:

    • Ensure it’s tidy, stocked, and no clothes are left in the dressing room.

  • Product Shelves:

    • Make sure shelves are stocked and presentable.

    • If stock is low, start a purchase order and notify management.

    • Submit product requests when needed.
